Old articles often hold some of the best kept secrets and recipes. If you can find some of those old magazines that got saved, take a look you never know what you will come across, go to your second hand shops look for those old cookbooks, ask you friends and family for handed down recipes, there is a treasure out there just waiting to be found.
Problem with old ways, it is a repeat of the same food over and over and over, they never try anything new, and it is really a problem because they have made up their minds before it even gets cooked and will never try a new way of fixing the same food or even try new dishes. So am I the only one to suffer from this ? Some of you are going to say just fix what you want and let them starve or fix something else, but only problem is now I would have double the clean up and a lot of wasted food, you see it is my kitchen not hers, although she visits it once in awhile. Also you have to keep peace in the family, and of course when I cook, I cook with passion and serve with love, most of the time it is enough.Not much to say today, other than have a great Day !
